FIFA must be wearing some expensive rose tinted specs, The true logical ranking should be around the 16 – Mrak.

England should be seeded for every tournament, by virtue of the fact, we introduced all you foreign chaps, to the beautiful game in the first place!!!

Always makes me laugh this, the criticism England get for being 3rd or 5th. However, when you think of it, its about right. All of the other international sides bar Germany and Spain have also been a let down at some stage over the last few years worse than England – France and Italy 2010, Holland 2012, etc. And before we get into the ‘oh but England were so technically inferior than Italy in the Euros’ argument, football is not gymnastics where points are given for artistic merit.

Nothing new. Fifa protecting England again by putting them 5th (3rd before) and so seeded for every WC and WC qualification.

They’ve probably seen all the complaints and thought oh sod it lets drop them down a few notches in the rankings. No way are we in the top five!
