The Parliament of Moldova has ratified the agreement on the free trade area within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said meeting with Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Jantoro Satybaldiev in Yalta (Crimea).

“I have been said today that Moldova ratified the agreement”, Azarov noted.

Thus, four countries have already ratified the document (Ukraine, Russia, Belarus and Moldova), the Ukrainian Prime Minister added.

If speaking about the creation of a large free trade area within the CIS, the rest of the CIS member states have to ratify the agreement as soon as possible, he stressed.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the CIS heads of government on September 28 will discuss Uzbekistan’s accession to the agreement on the CIS free trade area.
