In other matches, England beat Montenegro 4:1, Moldova defeated San Marino 3:0.
Thus, Ukraine has virtually sealed the second place for the play-offs to enter the World Cup 2014.
Ukraine has currently 18 points, England 19, Montenegro 15, Poland 13, Moldova 8 and San Marino 0.
In the group final round, Ukraine will play against San Marino, and England will compete with the Poles.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, on September 27 the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) told Ukraine to hold a home match versus Poland in Kharkiv within the qualifying cycle to the World Football Championship without spectators.
