First Brazil, then Russia, now Moldova makes a trend story.

Guards at a prison in Moldova nabbed a cat they noticed regularly sneaking in and out of the grounds through a hole in a fence. When they inspected the cat’s collar, they found two packets of marijuana.

The Department of Penitentiary Institutions said Friday that “someone in the village of Pruncul was using the cat as a courier to supply inmates with dope at the local prison,” according to the AP.

This story is perhaps best imagined without humans. It’d be terrific if it turned out these cats were working on their own accord.
